Lighthouse in the daily politics |
The discussions around the Lighthouse e.V. trial in Germany that pitted Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdo?an against the Do?an Media Group continue to take over the political agenda. Opposition Republican People's Party, or CHP and the Nationalist Action Party, or MHP, urged the government to clarify the corruption allegations.
MHP, which has joined the CHP in criticism of the government, raised the tone of the criticisms. MHP deputy parliamentary group leader Mehmet ?and?r told, “I am reminding the Prime Minister that he is responsible. He has to solve these problems.” He also argued that there is no point for the PM in having a discussion over a media boss.
AKP deputy parliamentary group leader Dengir Mir Mehmet F?rat continued to criticism of the Do?an Group for the reports on the Lighthouse trial and insisted on a co-operation between the group and the CHP leader Deniz Baykal. |
