Tourist Complaint to Office of Mufti |
 The citizens who live in Akçat? village applied to the office of Mufti about the immoral actions of tourists and guides in the mosque
The citizens who live in Akçat? Village are complaining about tourists these days. They state that tourists are improperly visiting the mosque which was made by a beneficent person. They say that tourists are pollute the mosque and acting immorally. They stated their displeasure about the subject by these words:
"We are trying to keep our mosque clean, but the tourists are polluting it no matter how hard we try. Tourists are coming with their guides and they are half naked and only wear a swimsuit or bikini. The guide, who knows nothing about the Islam religion wearing the skirt in the mosque which was put there for the tourists in the first place. With an very improper view she wants the other tourists to do the same. They are laughing very loudly inside while they are doing it. After that the female guide suddenly wears the imam's cloak and turban, which is disrespectful to imam and islam religion in general. Sometimes we listen to guide and hear what he says to the guides. He is saying "Everyone goes to mosque in Friday, just like you go to the church in Sunday."despite the fact that in Islam religion you can go to the mosque whenever you like. We cannot stand this disgusting attidude anymore. We are greeting the tourists with smiling faces and show them our hospitality and look what they do to our mosque. We are wanting the authorities to look upon the subject and don't let them to enter our beloved mosque. Akçat? Village Citizens. |
